The NGTV (Netherla nds Association of Interpreters and Translators) and SENSE have therefore decided to postpone their vote on whether to endorse the updated Covenant. \nRepresentatives of the VViN\, NGTV and SENSE will convene in due course to discuss additional changes to the updated version of the Dutch Covenant . \nWhen that version has been finalized\, the updated Dutch text and Engl ish translation will be shared with SENSE members\, who will then be asked whether they want SENSE to endorse the final version of the updated Dutch Covenant.\nRationale\nThe Convenant Vertaalsector Nederland (informally\, the Dutch Covenant) outlines the generally accepted rules of conduct that freelance translators and translation agencies in the Netherlands conside r good practice in their dealings with each other. It gives freelance tran slators in the Netherlands a better idea of what translation agencies in t he Netherlands may expect of them\, and vice versa.
