DESCRIPTION:Our guest speaker for this meeting is Patricia van Slobbe. Patr
 icia teaches at Avans Hogeschool in Breda and is an expert in the field of
  effective ICT use in the classroom. She is the co-author of Kleppen Dicht
 ! Effectief Leren met ICT\, a book that encourages teachers to experiment 
 with accessible technology in the classroom to enhance their connection wi
 th their learners. During Patricia’s presentation\, we will explore the po
 ssibilities of using online tools to enforce the impact of existing pedago
 gical strategies. We will focus on how ICT can support us and help us to h
 eighten the impact of our teaching.\nParticipants are advised to have some
  type of device with them in order to explore the material. A smartphone m
 ight do in a pinch\, but you would get more benefit from having a tablet o
