 nostia/San SebastiánSpain13-15 October 2022\nAfter moving online in 2021\,
we’re back in person for our annual meeting – or METM. Now in its 18th ye
ar\, METM is a highlight in the calendar for editors\, translators\, inter
preters and other language consultants around the Mediterranean and beyond
.\nFittingly\, the theme for this year’s meeting is the personal touch. At
METM22\, we’ll explore how human interaction and skill shape our work and
how we’re nurturing our professional relationships and services during th
e pandemic. And as a nod to our host city\, we’ll also share our experienc
es of minority languages.\nLocation\nDonostia/San Sebastián\, in the Basqu
e Country\, was once famed as a sophisticated summer residence during the
Belle Époque. Today it is a modern\, vibrant city renowned for its urban b
eaches\, natural beauty and innovative gastronomy.\nOur venue is the Olara
in University Hall of Residence\, a contemporary\, quirky location in the
city's university area. Olarain offers on-site accommodation and is within
walking distance of the town centre and the Ondarreta and La Concha beach
