 working with translation agencies. How does a translation agency operate? 
 What makes for a good collaboration between agencies and translators? And 
 what can you do to stand out as a freelance translator?\nDave owns and run
 s two translation agencies: LinQuake and Fiducia. He also focuses on resea
 rching\, applying and bringing to market new technologies in the translati
 on industry. Dave has a background in sales and client-facing roles. He st
 arted his own business years ago after having worked at one of the largest
  providers of translation and interpreting services in the Netherlands for
  some time. In 2018\, he organised the annual Dutch National Translation C
 onference. As a true entrepreneur\, Dave looked beyond LinQuake to harness
  new opportunities in the market. The launch of legal and financial transl
 ation company Fiducia in 2021 gave him the chance to put his ideas for a s
 pecialist language services provider into practice. Dave has served as the
  chair of VViN\, the Dutch association of translation agencies\, for some
