Given the success of our previous meeting on "Levels of Editing”, we have decided to follow the same format but with a new text and a new duo. Freelance medical editors Daphne Lees and Sally Hill will edit a 300-word text taken from a manuscript that one of them recently edited for a client. At the meeting, they will compare their edits and hear from other attendees whether or not they agree. For example, why would you change something? are the changes justified? what comments would we leave in for the client?

The text will also be made available to anyone else who wants to have a go beforehand, but preparation is not compulsory.

Attendance is free of charge to SENSE members and guests. If you wish to attend, please register above by Friday 3 April 10:00 at the latest. Now the meeting is going to be held online, we intend to limit registration to 16 participants. But this may change so do sign up even if you're told the meeting is full.
