Training SIG: Inaugural meeting

Hi everybody,

We’ve all been to workshops. Some of them are amazing. Many of them are boring. What’s the difference? A trainer who knows the topic – and just as importantly – a trainer who knows how to engage participants and get them excited about the session.

This is called training…and it’s far different than teaching. In fact, it’s another kind of animal altogether.

Are you already a trainer? Or would you like to be? Or are you just curious about what goes on ‘behind the curtain’ at those workshops you attend?
