The Start of Starters SIG
The first Starters SIG Meeting/borrel will take place on 10 September 19.00-20.30 on Zoom. Please register by clicking the button at the top of this page by 10.00 the morning of 10 September.
The Starters SIG is a group for those of us who are new to SENSE and/or to the language industry as a whole, or who have recently started down a new path and are finding themselves in unfamiliar territory. This SIG seeks to provide a safe space where members can share their experiences, ask for advice and tips and network.
This first event will be pretty casual: bring a drink, expect at least one not-too-lame icebreaker, discuss entering the language industry and/or freelance workforce, and share your opinions on what you'd like to see from the SIG in the future.
