Starters SIG - Work in Progress: Continuing Professional Development

At our March event, on 18 March 19.00–20.30 CET, we’ll discuss how to develop a career as a language professional. We’ll chat about resources and opportunities, and we’ll also discuss how to balance CPD with (paid) work and life.

*Hot tip*: CPD is short for Continuing Professional Development.

Things to think about:
- Skills development (e.g. editing, translation, etc.)
- Business development (e.g. marketing, website, client acquisition, etc.)
- Subject area development (e.g. your niche, content you can edit/translate)
- Language development (e.g. learning a new language, etc.)
