 rking platform Wonder.\nCome join us for our Professional Development Days
 \, the biennial event in which SENSE members learn from (and with) other m
 embers. This year's programme is all about horizontal knowledge-sharing an
 d learning from your peers throughout your career. \nTopics include digita
 l nomadism\, the linguistics of wine\, branding to money management\, bala
 ncing multiple niches\, collaborative translation\, intercultural communic
 ation\, the SENSE mentoring programme\, and battling imposter’s syndrome.
 \nWe open with a plenary session called 'Peer-to-peer knowledge-sharing' o
 n day 1 and close with a plenary session called 'CPD: Changing professiona
 l development' on day 2.  Choose up to nine out of 18 possible elective se
 ssions that match your interests. And if none of the sessions interest you
  at any time\, head on over a virtual watercooler to network with other me
 mbers while you wait.\nThere are three panel discussions:\n\nIntercultural
  business communication (Day 1\, morning)\nThe SENSE mentoring programme (
 Day 1\, afternoon)\nStrategies to combat imposter's syndrome (Day 2\, afte
 rnoon)\n\nSix electives are available on both days:\n\nHow the language in
 dustry has changed over the past 20 (or so) years\nThe freedom of freelanc
 ing – deciding on a digital nomad journey\nSpanish wine and translation: w
 hat could they possibly have in common?\nHow to be a specialised generalis
 t\nMoney management: does your 'boss' treat you well?\nWhat gives you ener
 gy? And how do you earn a living doing that?\n\nAnd nine other electives t
 o choose from:\n\nRecognising and working with inductive/deductive communi
 cation styles\nHow to increase your visibility and market your services\nW
 orking as collaborative translators in arts and culture\nMaintaining langu
 age pairs\nPersonal branding: Lessons learnt through trial and (t)error\nA
 n ergonomic workspace: keep fit while you work\nAn editing slam\nKeep trac
 k to keep up: organizing your workflow\n\nOf course\, we haven’t forgotten
  about the social aspect. An unmoderated Wonder room will be available thr
 oughout the two days to allow for networking and mingling with old colleag
 ues and new faces on the SENSE scene.  At the end of each day\, we’ll have
  a moderated networking session. \nSign up\nTickets cost €25 for SENSE mem
 bers and €40 for non-members. The ticket price is the same if you attend o
