Experience I have worked as a reporter, news editor and sub-editor on newspapers and magazines since 1979. Since 1993 I have worked as a freelance correspondent in the Netherlands specializing in health and medicine. Over the last decade, I have also worked as an English native-speaking editor of, largely, academic medical texts. Since 2004, I have researched and written a history book on the experiences of Dutch civilians during the Second World War Battle of Arnhem. This was published, in Dutch, as De verschrikking van de nacht Ooggetuigen van de Slag om Arnhem, by Kosmos in 2015.
