UniSIG: Developing the AI Quality of Engagement Matrix to encourage positive AI use

With students using Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) as a matter of course to help them with their writing practices, how can teachers of academic or scientific English best train them to use GenAI critically and ethically?

Dr Peter Levrai (University of Turku, Finland) has co-developed a tool to do this and in our March meeting will introduce and explain it. The topic will also be of interest to editors and proofreaders of student texts.
