Sister organizations

One of the pillars of the SENSE strategy first outlined by the EC at the 2017 AGM is for SENSE to become more outward looking.
We actively want to pursue good relationships with other organizations in the language industry to help our members. To this end, SENSE now has agreed ‘sister organization’ status with:

  • MET - Mediteranean Editors & Translators
  • NEaT - Nordic Editors and Translators

SENSE and its sister organizations promote one another's events and offer discounts on events reciprocally.

In the Netherlands, SENSE actively participates in the PSTEVIN Platform and maintains contact with the Dutch translators' organizations NGTV and VZV.

In Europe, besides its sister organizations, SENSE maintains contact with ITI, SfEP, EASE ...

Worldwide, we maintain contact with PEG (South Africa), IPEd (Australia), Editors Canada ...

Sister and other organizations wishing to share and promote their events with SENSE are welcome to contact our events coordinator, who will inform our members and add your events to our calendar.

If your organization is interested in collaborating with SENSE or becoming a ‘sister organization’ please get in touch with our inter-society liaison officer.
