Come join fellow SENSE members for an afternoon of fun and socializing in Utrecht.
At this year’s Winter Social we’re having glühwein, hot chocolate, board games, singing, and catching up with each other. Instead of the usual buffet dinner, there will be cakes & brownies, coffee & tea, beer & wine, and juice & soda. And lots of ‘networking’, of course!
This event is specifically for SENSE members, but feel free to bring up to two guests. (Guests pay the same fee as members.)
REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE AT MIDDAY ON 16 JANUARY 2026.
Programme
The doors open at 13:00.
At around 14:00 we’ll split into groups and enjoy a ‘board game carousel’. Games will be provided, and will include classics like Rummikub, Trivial Pursuit and Pictionary. Every 30-40 minutes, everyone will switch around, split into new groups and move to a new game.
Or if you want to take a break, grab some chairs with colleagues and just relax with drinks.
At around 16:00, Lizzie will accompany us on her piano with a fun session of singing popular songs.
There are no dinner plans, but Utrecht is alive with possibilities, if you’d like to continue your day of socializing with a group of colleagues.
Drinks & snacks
Coffee & tea will be provided all afternoon, along with a selection of cakes and brownies. The ticket price includes two drinks such as beer, wine, juice and soda (additional drinks can also be purchased). We’ll also have glühwein and hot chocolate.
Location
In de Ruimte is a cellar on the Oudegracht canal in the heart of Utrecht.
The cellar is reached via a steep staircase from the street level. It’s a 20-minute walk from Utrecht Central train station, or a 5-minute walk from Parkeergarage Springweg.
Cost
Tickets cost just €25 per person for SENSE members and their guests (if any). When signing up for this event, select the ‘Member’ ticket, and select one or two ‘Guest’ tickets if you want to bring a guest or two.
There is no buffet dinner this year. The event is subsidized by SENSE, and the ticket price goes towards paying for the venue, the drinks and the snacks.
