 This will be our final meeting until the autumn, and to celebrate we'll be deviating from our usual venue and schedule. Instead, we will pull on our hiking boots and enjoy a combination of history, art, exercise and good food in beautiful Houthem-St Gerlach and lively Valkenburg. The outing, which starts at 3 p.m., includes a guided tour of the delightful little church in Houthem, a stroll through the grounds of Chateau St Gerlach, drinks at a favorite local inn, a four-kilometer walk along the meandering Geul, and dinner at great little restaurant in Valkenburg (during which we will of course be discussing important linguistic and business matters!).
