This one-day workshop is intended for editors, copywriters and translators who want to improve their website’s search engine rankings or add SEO copywriting to their service offering. It teaches you how to write web pages that have good content and get great rankings on the search engines. It answers the following questions:

  • How do I research and come up with keywords?
  • How is writing for the web different from writing for printed media?
  • How do I structure the content on my web pages?

About the trainer

becky bakerBecky Baker is a writer whose goal is to make complicated products and technologies accessible for all. For more than 15 years, a variety of high tech corporations in the B2B sector have drawn upon her copywriting services and communication advice to strengthen their marketing communication activities. Her work includes everything from interviewing hospital managers in Ankara to developing advertising concepts for customers across the globe. Writing projects are varied; websites, corporate history books and strategic business plans are all part of the mix. In the past five years, she has specialized in writing for search engines and new media. Healthcare copywriting is another area of focus. Becky has a Master’s in British Literature and a Bachelor’s in English.
