Topic: Conceptions and misconceptions about legal English in the Netherlands

Date: Thursday, 3 April 2014

Tme: 19:00 to 21:00.

Location: De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, Amsterdam

This meeting will be an interactive discussion led by Greg Korbee. He is the director and owner of Jurisfluence. Greg is a Dutch-Canadian lawyer-linguist and legal trainer who delivers successful and well regarded courses on legal English, legal writing and legal drafting. He also assists Dutch lawyers, civil-law notaries and tax advisers with the drafting and writing of English-language agreements, deeds and other documents and with the editing of English legal texts. He has 15 years of experience in providing high-quality training and support to Dutch legal professionals.

This should prove to be a very interesting and unique workshop for finlegsig members and SENSE friends. We will be applying for 2 on-going professional educational points for this meeting. All are most welcome.
