Peter Smethurst will speak with us about the plans for SENSE's upcoming jubilee conference. And afterwards, there will be a roundtable discussion on new developments in CAT technology, what's happening in the field re: legal and financial translations, any course offerings and information finlegsig members should be aware of, and any other announcements.

And as most finlegsig members are already aware, the SENSE jubilee conference committee is accepting proposals for workshops, presentations, and more. This conference will reach out beyond SENSE and is an opportunity to share members’ professional insights and know-how with other language professionals in the Netherlands, and from SENSE's European sister organisations. If you are interested in collaborating on a presentation about finlegsig for the conference, please contact me fairly soon at stephen.machon@debrauw.com. finlegsig would need to submit a proposal before 14 March 2015.

If you would like to submit your own proposal, you should submit an outline of 200 to 300 words, containing a short biography (50-100 words) to jubilee25@sense-online.nl, clearly marking your message ‘Proposal for SENSE Conference 2015’. Please submit your proposal and biography as one document in Microsoft Word. You can also contact Martine Croll for additional information.

Our meeting on Thursday, 23 April 2015, should prove to be a very interesting meeting for finlegsig members and SENSE friends. All are most welcome.
